Please ensure Terms & Conditions are read in full before booking any Black Barn Filby experience.
General Terms
These are terms applicable across Black Barn Filby but specific terms override any general terms stated.

Offers cannot be used in conjunction with one another and are subject to availability.

Black Barn Filby holds the right to change prices for all experiences and re-booking is not guaranteed at the same price.

All Gift Vouchers are valid for 365 days, where specific experience vouchers are purchased the value will be honoured for up to 3months, after which Black Barn Filby will not honour the price and additional payment may be required (please note the value will remain active for 365 days).

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate communication information (email & phone), failing to do so may result in lack of communication, in this instance Black Barn Filby will not be responsible, nor will it void any related terms.

Prices are inclusive of VAT and payment is required upfront for all experiences. Any bookings made via a third party are subject to the providers terms and conditions, Black Barn Filby is not responsible for payment handling.

Black Barn Filby cannot take any responsibility for any adverse weather conditions or traffic issues that may effect your experience, specific conditions will apply.

Any lost property found will be held for 7days without contact, after this time any items will be disposed unless an agreed return has been confirmed, please note that returning of items that incur cost will not be covered by Black Barn Filby.

Any personal items brought onto the premises is not the responsibility of Black Barn Filby.

All refunds will be returned to the original payment type, if a third party is used it is the responsibility of the customer to contact the provider in all circumstances.

It is the responsibility of all customers to provide any allergy or dietary requirements at least 48hrs ahead of any booking/appointment, if this has not been clearly communicated then adequate alternatives may not be available.

Black Barn Filby is able to provide Diary, Gluten and Vegan (inc Vegetarian) food alternatives but please note some dietary requirements may not be possible, this will be communicated ahead of any experience.

All allergies must be provided ahead of any visit, Black Barn Filby will communicate if there are any concerns.
Facility Terms
These are terms applicable across Black Barn Filby but specific terms override any general terms stated.

All persons will swim at their own risk and no lifeguard is present. There must be at least one competent swimmer within any group.

Private hire of the pool is not permitted for children's birthday parties due to safety and insurance purposes
-
Any non-swimmers will wear/ use any necessary floatation aids which must be provided by customers.
-
The pool must not to be used by any persons who have had diarrhoea within the past two weeks due to the risk of Cryptosporidium.

The owners, Mr P & L Thompson accept no responsibility for our use of the pool.
-
Swimming alone is not permitted, regardless of swimming ability or age
-
There will be no diving, running or jumping in the pool area for safety reasons.
-
Noise within the facilities must be kept to a minimum, any loud noise or concerning behaviour will not be tolerated.

Any damages must be reported to a team member immediately and management may request payment for customer damage.

All individuals must make themselves aware of the Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plan which are displayed poolside.

Any items provided by Black Barn Filby (inc Sliders, Towels & Gowns) must not be taken and will be subject to charges if taken.

We strongly advise leaving any special jewellery at home as this may be tarnished by the chlorine in the pool.

Black Barn will not be liable for damage, injury or consequential loss, however caused, to our customers, their property and belongings unless it is solely due to the negligence of the Company, its employees or agents.
Spa Terms
The below terms apply to any spa experience appointment
-
Black Barn Filby reserves the right to place treatment times at any point in your spa experience, any abnormal placements will be communicated ahead of the visit using the email address provided.

Black Barn Filby holds the right to change the treatment selected as part of your spa experience, this will be communicated and avoided where possible but at times necessary due to resource requirements.
-
Please note that all treatment times include medical consultation, set up and your chosen treatment.
-
We kindly request that mobile phones are kept on silent or switched off in the spa.
-
The spa reserves the right to deny entry or to ask any guest to leave should we deem behaviour to be inappropriate.
-
No external drinks or food can be brought into the Black Barn Filby.
-
Minimum age 16 years old for all spa experiences.
-
If for any reason the start time is missed the booking will remain active but any delayed start time will not result in a later finish time and specific times within the experience schedule will remain. If the spa experience includes treatments Black Barn Filby will endeavour to adjust accordingly but holds the right to cancel with no refund if effected due to lateness, alternatives may be suggested to mitigate but not guaranteed.

SPA MEDICAL CONSULTATION

At Black Barn your health and safety is our number one priority, so if you are currently living with any medical conditions, are currently pregnant or have any allergens please let us know prior to your arrival. A full consultation will be completed with you before your treatment, but please note that if any contraindications are found we may have to change or cancel your treatment.

​PREGNANCY

Please note that we do not offer body treatments for individuals who are 1-12 weeks pregnant. From 12 weeks we offer a specially created treatments suitable for pregnancy. We do not recommend the use of any heat facilities or hydrotherapy facilities within the spa. If you need further guidance, please ask any member of the Spa Team. ​​

SPA DAY PAYMENT, CANECELLATION & NO SHOWS

Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking for all day packages. All spa day and treatment times are subject to availability.

The following Cancellation rules apply, reason for cancellation does not apply to reason therefore applies to all scenarios;
-
We require 7 days notice for any detail amendments of the appointment.
-
Up to 14days prior to the date of your appointment you can change the date of your spa day to within 3 months of the original date, but you are unable to receive a refund.
-
No refund will be payable for non-arrival for a spa day without the required notice.
Treatment Terms
The below terms apply to any spa experience appointment

Minimum age 16 years old for any facial treatments and minimum of 18 years old for any body treatments.

Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking for all individual treatments, bookings are non-transferable 14days prior to your treatment. All treatments are subject to availability.

All customers receiving a treatment are required to complete a “Pre-Treatment Form” informing the beauty therapist of any allergies, specific requirements and/or concern areas.
-
Any allergies and/or specific requirements may effect the chosen treatment, the beauty therapist may suggest an alternative.

Treatments are carried out by Male & Female beauty therapists, every customer has the right to refuse treatment but please note refunds will not be provided based on gender specific refusal. If a reference is communicated we will always endeavour to fulfil this requirement but cannot guarantee due to resource availability.

If for any reason the start time is missed the booking will remain active up to 15minute past the start time, if the start time is surpassed by 15mins due to lateness then Black Barn Filby holds the right to cancel without refund.
